Every material used in this pair of nightstands is made from architectural salvage.  The siding and tabletop are made from leftover redwood battens from construction of a house in the redwoods, the carcase is made from oak bed slats, the doors are pine shutters, and the pull-out drawers and tabletop substrate were once kitchen cabinets.
